A carport kit is a shipped structural product, not a synonym for every carport. Compare exact geometry, materials, anchors, assembly and what the price includes before treating two similarly sized kits as equivalent.
The defining feature of this page is shipped/prefabricated, assembly-required structure. Current researched kits include galvanized-steel roof systems, vertical-panel steel products, aluminum/polycarbonate structures and two-post architectural designs. That is why “carport kit” should not be treated as a single material or roof style.

Look for the lowest relevant opening/truss height and a dependable clear width. A tall peak does not create full-width clearance.

Size the vehicle first, then compare exact kit records whose dimensions and source limitations are visible.
A rigid shipped kit is different from a portable fabric shelter. It is also different from an installed/custom structure where a provider configures the dimensions, roof, enclosure and location. If the structure type is still open, compare the broader Metal Carports decision first.
